I think I am hooked and I haven't even bought any yet! I think these are sooo cute and perfect for Miss Finners!! She always wants shoes on, even if she is in her footed PJ's! I bought her some slippers but she won't keep them on.. So this may just be the answer!

Valentine's Day!

Just a few pics of Finn in her new dress she got for Valentines Day from my Aunt Laurie. We don't exhange Christmas gifts with them but instead have always done Valentines Day. Isn't it cute!?!?!

So Miss Finn was just too dang sweet this weekend and I splurged and gave her a little extra treat since Daddy wasn't looking.. He thinks she gets to messy with them and usually tries to feed them to her himself... Yea right we all know how great that goes over with an independent two year old.. (GASP, my baby is 2 in 13 days!!!!)

Anyway, maybe he has a point........

LMAO! I turned around for one second! And look! LOL I couldn't help but laugh.. she obviously had a ton of fun and was very proud of herself. I took out the camera and she came back with a big ol "CHEESE" and that sweet smile..

Needless to say she went right in the bath!

After that she took a nap and when she woke up her Daddy took her for a walk. He let her "pick" her clothes and when she walked out I had to smile she was looking to damn sweet for her own good. God I love that girl!!

I think I hurt his feelings..

Late last week Travis couldn't contain it anymore and spilled the beans on a Valentine gift he'd been planning. Turns out he had scheduled us for a couples massage on V day complete with our own private suite, Champagne and Chocolate Covered Strawberries!! Isn't that sweet!! He even had child care already arranged. I was super stoked and couldn't wait..

Then we did our taxes.....

Blech! I hate money! We didn't get what we had hoped for and after taking care of the things we needed to there is next to nothing left...

I was thinking about how much I wanted to do the massage but that could I really justify spending that kind of money with the way things are right now.. How would I feel if went and spent $200+ on a massage only to turn around and one of us get laid off next week..

So I talked with him about it last night and tried very nicely to talk him out of it. It's hard because I don't want to discourage him from doing nice things like that but I also don't want to do something we can't really afford.. So I told him all the other things we could do with that money and how as much as I want to I don't think we should do it.. He seemed a little perturbed about it but agreed. So I called and was *luckily* able to cancel it. Turns out it was non-refundable and they already had our debit card info so I thought we were screwed but the lady was really nice about it and said that they had a waiting list and since we gave them so much notice she wasn't going to charge us.. I called and let him know I was able to cancel it and he said "OK, thanks for shitting on my gift" Sigh, he said he was kidding but I don't think he was.. However, if he wasn't talking shit about something and giving me a hard time then I would have been worried.

Do you think I should have just kept quiet and gone ahead with it, am I wrong for telling him? So many times I have gotten ourselves in trouble by not saying no to things he wants to do when I know we shouldn't. I'm trying to turn a new leaf!

Besides, I have two free movie passes from work and a gift card to Applebee's leftover from Christmas, that sounds like a great V day and it's FREE!! He seems over it now but I feel bad for doing it....

HEY IT'S FRIDAY!!!!! And the boss is gone till Tuesday! I'm finally getting that break!
